Take action to support Gui Minhai

Contact your elected official

You can ask your parliamentarian to:

• Formally ask your country’s Foreign Ministry what your government is doing for Gui Minhai

• Raise the matter of what your government should do for Gui Minhai in a discussion in parliament or in one of its groups or committees

You can also ask your city council officials what is being done locally in your city to put pressure on China over Gui Minhai’s case.

Write to your local Chinese embassy or consulate

You can write to your local PRC embassy or consulate to demand:

• Gui Minhai’s immediate release

• Information on his whereabouts

• Information on his health status

You can also show your support for Minhai by writing him a letter or postcard. Because we don’t know where he is, we have no address to which to send letters, but you can send them to your nearest PRC embassy or consulate to ask them to deliver them to him on your behalf.
